It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Frances Niland of Westwood, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 23, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Donoghue and Ellen Donoghue (Cunnane); her husband Peter John Niland, Jr.; her son Stephen Niland; and her sister Joan Schraven.
She is survived by: her children, Fran, Diane "Buffy" Desprez (James) of Norfolk and Peter Sean Niland, Sr. (Melissa) of Shirley; her grandchildren, Brittany Anselone (Charlie), Tyler Desprez (Taylor), Kiersten Niland, Brady Niland and Sean Niland; her great grandchildren, Jaxon, Mila and Bradyn; and her siblings, Mary O'Donnell of Hull, John Donoghue of Naples and James Donoghue of Pocasset. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
