She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Kirkpatrick Bole Hare and Mary Lenhardt Hare; her husband Stewart Horner Steffey; her children, Stewart H. Steffey, Jr., Sue Anne Steffey Morrow, Mary Lenhardt Steffey (Molly) and Joseph Bole Hare Steffey; and her granddaughter Katherine Johnson Steffey. She was also cherished by extended family including eight grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
