She was predeceased by: her parents, Hal "Bumpa" Stanton and Merle Stanton of Agawam, MA.. She is survived by: her husband Leslie Bessette of Westfield, MA; her daughter Ashley Levy; her son-in-law Mark Levy of Finksburg, MD; her grandchildren, Austin and Adrian Levy; her great grandchild Austin Bessette (Becky Chan) of Portland, OR.; her sisters-in-law, Peggy Mercadante and Denise Bessette; and her nieces, Michelle Willey and Danielle Drouin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to D'Amour Cancer Center in Springfield, MA to whom the family is forever grateful for the excellent care and compassion given to Sherry.
