He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Danek and Bernice Danek (Guzewicz); his son Steven; his son-in-law Ronald Zanolli; and his siblings, Thomas, Anthony, Edward, Anna Chmura, Frances Burgielewicz and Bernice Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Danek (Saidak) of Westfield; his children, Michael P. Danek, Valerie Maslauskas (Rod), Patricia Ryan, Diane Zanolli and Carol Pacinella; his daughter-in-law Lynn Taylor (Danek); his niece Jennifer Hartman; his grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Kristine, Gina Marie, Stephanie, Jeffrey and Justin; and his brother Peter Danek. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
