He was predeceased by: his parents, Nora T. Coyne (Keane) and Martin J. Coyne; his wife Elizabeth; and his brothers, Tom (Joan) and John (Elizabeth).

He is survived by: his caregiver Adelina Sanchez; his sister Mary Brown of Mansfield; and his cousins, Catherine, Winifred, Nora, Mary and Betsy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
