He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald G. and Lorraine J. Melanson Sr. (Messinger); and his brother John Melanson. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Melanson of West Wareham; his sons, Donald G. Melanson III (Jean) and Tim Melanson (Melissa); his grandchildren, Jacob, Peyton and Dennis; his siblings, Pamela Sorrel (Richard) and David Melanson (Cindy); and his sister-in-law Dee Vicino (Fran). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
