It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita A. Petersen of West Springfield, Massachusetts, born in Lachine, Québec, who passed away on May 23, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Cayer and Donalda Cayer (Lareau); and her siblings, Denise, Norman, Roland, Real Cayer, Claire Hercenberg and Yvette Matlock.

She is survived by: her son Kenneth Petersen of Latham, NY..
