George Rossmeisl Jr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Rossmeisl Jr. of West Springfield, Massachusetts, born in Greenfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 22, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Helena "Helen" T. Rossmeisl (Ostrowski); his son-in-law Walter J. Swistak; his parents, Gladys V. Rossmeisl (Hohengasser) and George A. Rossmeisl Sr.; his sisters, Barbara Krupienski, Gail Gonet, Marie Aseltine, Doris Dahowski and Gladys Cowan; and his siblings-in-law, Tad Drozdowski, John Dagasse, Charlie Fields, Richard Line, Richard Aseltine, James Krupienski, William Gonet, Joseph Dahowski, Earl Cowan and Cathy Rossmeisl.
He is survived by: his children, Leonard (Pauline Rossmeisl), Stephen (Anne-Marie Rossmeisl) of Pelham, N. H., Elizabeth "Lisa" Lagasse (Paul Lagasse, Jr.) and Georgette Swistak of Feeding Hills; his grandchildren, Paul, Jeffrey Lagasse, Alyssa, Brendon Rossmeisl, Samantha, Justin Swistak and Stephanie Rossmeisl; his great grandchildren, Gavin, Giuliana, Grady Lagasse, Madelyn and Wyatt Shelly; and his siblings, Edward (Shirley Rossmeisl), John (Marthe Rossmeisl), James (Betty Rossmeisl), David Rossmeisl, Philip Rossmeisl, Paul Rossmeisl, Virginia Dagasse, Esther Line, Ruth Fields, Sally (Lawrence Maziarz), Marlene (Frank Czepiel) and Linda Drozdowski. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
