He was predeceased by: his wives, Barbara Getchell (Reid) and Diane Getchell (Stoddard); and his parents, Kenneth Getchell and Claire Marcyes. He is survived by: his children, Paul (Leonore) of Jamaica Plain, Mark (Jean) of Plymouth and Julie Woodall of West Roxbury; his grandchildren, Maya, Kara, Sean, Conor, Michael, Mark, Leon, Leia, Barbara and Neal; his great grandchildren, Charlie, Freya, Noah and Logan; his brother Edward Getchell of Estes Park, CO.; his siblings-in-law, Dawn and John Osgood; his nephew Jay; and his nieces, Stephanie and Amy.
