She was predeceased by: her parents, Paolo Scavitto and Francesca Scavitto (Guiffre); her siblings, Pauline, Joseph, Pascal, Mary, John, Julia and Grace; and her friend Dr. Estelle Clasing.

She is survived by: her friend Marilyn D. Becker of Roxbury. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in marguerite's name to Grace and Hope Mission 1900 Columbus Ave. Boston, MA 02119.
