He was predeceased by: his brother Rolf Koenig; and his parents, Horst Koenig and Inge Koenig. He is survived by: his children, Marc Koenig (Lynne) of Millis and Kimberly Truczinskas (Ryan) of Easton; his significant other Janet Stockbridge; his grandchildren, Michael Koenig, Matthew and Ashley Truczinskas; and his sibling Harald Koenig (Peggy) of Franklin.
