He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Franklin Swain and Grace Swain (Daigle); his wife Shirley (Tessier); his children, Philip Jr. (Roseanne) of Concord, David (Linda) of San Rafael and Carol of Alexandria, Virginia; his grandchildren, Daniel, Kimberly, William and Jennifer; his nephews, Franklin Swain III and Mark Swain; and his niece Sandra Swain Bromwell.
