He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda (Campbell); his parents, Walter L. Goodwin and Agnes Colby (Goodwin); his brothers, Walter Jr. and John R. Goodwin; and his son-in-law Donald.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas W. Goodwin (Mary Ellen) of Lexington and Martha "Marty"; his grandchildren, Amy, Tom Lowell, Erin, Chris Price, Matthew and Kelly; his cousins, John, Mark, Kathryn "Katie" Goodwin, Jeffrey and Kevin Falco; and his great grandchildren, Chrissy, Brendon, Aidan Lowell, Connor and Riley Price. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and very dear friends.
