He is survived by: his spouse Melissa Fernando (Boyington); his parents, Neville Fernando of Berkley and Iranganie Fernando (Gunasekera) of Berkley; his siblings, Ashini Fernando (Vasthu) of Berkley and Ashan Fernando (Megan) of Berkley; his nieces and nephews, Aacen Fernando and Axel Fernando; his godchild Adriana Hawley of South Windsor, CT.; and his mother-in-law Lorraine Boyington of Longboat Key, FL. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts made to a charity of one's choice in Ashwin's memory, would be deeply appreciated.
