He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew A. Alessi and Josephine R. Alessi (Mele); and his wife Ruth Alessi (Rice). He is survived by: his daughters, Paula J. Avila of Petersham, Roberta M. Alessi of Petersham, Callie M. Avila and Emily M. Avila; his siblings, Andrew Alessi, Mary Russo, Joseph Alessi, John Alessi and David Alessi; and also Ruth. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
