She was predeceased by: her parents, Ilias Kanellis and Panagiota Kanellis (Oikonomakou); her husband Kosta Kotsonouri; and her siblings, Efthimia, Stella, Vasilis and Themios.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Kotsonouri (Georgia) of Greece, Louis Kushell (Cynthia) of North Carolina, Panos Kushell (Kathy) of North Carolina and Lena Theodorakakos (Takis) of Templeton; and her grandchildren, Christos, Maria, Niki, Evangelia, Giota, George, Vicky, Margarita, Yianni and Pano. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
