He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh L. Tenney and Effie Tenney (Stowell); and his brothers, Donald, Ralph, Raymond and Robert Tenney.
He is survived by: his wife Verna Tenney (Kennedy); his fiancée Helen McCormick; his children, Wayne C. Tenney (Lisa) of West Stockbridge, Gary L. Tenney (Janet) and Karen Tenney Williams of Stockbridge; his siblings, Gladys LaGrant of Lee, Grace Pixley of Stockbridge and Herbert Tenney of South Egremont; his son Craig; and his daughter-in-law Lisa McCormick. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
