She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Charles Francis Hamel; her parents, William Henry and Margaret Eleanor Onthank (Thompson); her children, Carol Long (Wayne) of Southborough, William Hamel (Kathleen) of Bedford, Stephen Hamel (Carol) of Falmouth, Christopher Hamel (Jane) of Southborough, Charles Hamel, Jr. (Chuck) of Wendell and David Hamel of Clearwater, FL; and her grandson Nathan Long. She was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and step grandchildren; their spouses; 16 great grandchildren and step grandchildren.
