With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rene G. Berard (South Hadley, Massachusetts), born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 13, 2018 at the age of 100. He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth F. Berard (Markoski); and his son-in-law Edward Moynihan. He is survived by: his parents, Ludger Berard and Maria Berard (Gouin); his children, Maureen Moynihan, Kathleen Kearns (Dana) and Kenneth Berard of New Jersey; and his sister Viola. He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
