She was predeceased by: her daughter Lila Carey Cleveland; her granddaughter Jessica Hayes; and her siblings, Peggy Farley and Maynard Farley Jr.. She is survived by: her parents, Maynard Farley and Alice Farley (Foster); her spouse Gerald R. Carey; her children, Kevin (Kathryn) of Shutesbury, Deborah O'Brien (Timothy) of Shutesbury, Gerald Jr. of Shutesbury, Michael (Ellen) of Amherst, Vickie Lauder (David) and Lynda Vassallo (Robert); her brother John Farley (Wendy) of Montague; and her child Charlotte. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, brothers–in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews.
