It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katharine M. Nelson of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, born in Worcester, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 24, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donald R. "Bob" Nelson; her son Donald R. Nelson, Jr.; her grandchildren, Jahmal Nelson and Matthew Maloney; and her parents, Anthony Colaizzi and Mary Colaizzi (DiGreggoria).
She is survived by: her children, Katharine Furst (Arthur), Suzanne Bell (Andy), Patricia Nelson (Bill Ellis), Paul Nelson (Rosario), David Nelson (Carol), William Nelson (Patricia), Stephan Nelson and Elizabeth Ward (Michael); her daughter-in-law Suzanne Nelson; and her grandchildren, Alana, TJ, Paul Curtis Nelson, Max, Sam Furst, Andrea, David Bell and Skylar Nelson. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and multiple nieces and nephews.
