He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Beatrice Burns (Miller) of Shrewsbury; and his brothers, John "Jack" and Robert "Bob" Burns. He is survived by: his sons, Gerald Jr., Trevor and Brendan; his daughters-in-law, Loree, Gina and Jenny; his former wife Trisha; and his grandchildren, Francesca, Samuel, Benjamin, Catherine, Anthony, Cassidy and Caedan. He is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
