He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Bryant and Emma Bryant (Christensen); and his siblings, Martha Bryant, Madelyn "Lyn" Maguire, Shirley Borglund, Vivian LeClaire and Arthur H. Bryant Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Carol Johnson (Johnson); his children, Darlene Golden (Tom) of Shrewsbury, Gayle Bryant (John Silva) of Shrewsbury, George Bryant Jr. (Angela) of Shrewsbury and Kathleen Harmon-Weaver (John) of Northborough; his grandchildren, James Golden, Jill Crowton (Jonathan), Larissa Bryant, Jocelyn Harmon, Emma Bryant, Brydon Harmon (Maddie) and Abby Bryant; his great grandchildren, Brielle, Jonathan Jr., Madeline Crowton and Caleb Bryant; his sister Barbara (Ray Harlow) of Shrewsbury; and his brother-in-law Frederick LeClaire of Oxford. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.

More recently, due to COVID, he looked forward to receiving pictures, phone calls, and videos when they couldn't visit.
