She is survived by: her husband Leland; her children, Sarah of Chevy Chase, MD and Daniel; her daughter-in-law Jennifer; her grandchildren, Samantha and Joshua of New York City; and her siblings, Joan Abel Parker of Sharon, MA and Samuel Abel-Palmer of Shelburne, VT. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
