She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Christie. She is survived by: her children, Brian Christie of Peabody and Marcia Kercher (Steven Kercher) of Ipswich; and her grandchildren, Briana Christie of East Bridgewater, Meredith Kercher of Beverly, Myles Kercher, Timothy Kercher and Anna Kercher of Ipswich.
Her Son Brian moved back home in August of 2015 to assist Ruth in being able to stay at her home until COVID and other ailments finally took their toll on her in January of 2021.
