He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Sparks (Lambert); his parents, Harold E. Sparks and Phyllis Sparks (DeMarco); his son Robert Sparks; and his siblings, Michael, Edward, Robert and Patricia.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Tibbetts of Saugus, Cynthia Perron of Saugus, Kathryn Bonia of Saugus, Kenneth Sparks of Saugus, Sandra Forestier of Saugus, James Sparks and Jennifer Schueller of Middleton; his close friend Rita Warner of Saugus; and his brother Richard Sparks. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren.
