She was predeceased by: her parents, Gurney Forsyth and Beverly Forsyth (Norman). She is survived by: her husband Stephen A. Schaefer; her daughters, Gabrielle Leavitt, Kimberly Perry of Hingham and Rachael Perry of Rockport; her grandchild Riley Russell; her siblings, Jane (Michael Murray) of Lynn, Wayne (Cathy Forsyth) of Amesbury and Mark Forsyth of Portland, ME; and her siblings-in-law, Donald W. Schaefer of Merritt Island, FL, Barbara (Michael Pasqualichio) of Clarks Summit, PA and Judy (Charles Gregg) of Plymouth. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Leslie's name to the Rockport United Methodist Church, for care of the gardens.
