Dana N. Rankin Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dana N. Rankin of Rockport, Massachusetts, born in Danvers, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 8, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank A. Rankin and Marjorie Rankin (Bean). He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Rankin (Witham); his children, Melissa Poole (Brad) of Rockport and Keith (Lauri-Beth) of Pittston, Maine.; his granddaughter Samantha Poole; his brother Glen (Elizabeth) of Georgia; and his siblings-in-law, Henry Witham (Nancy) and Shirley Hendrickson (Paul). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and beloved pets.

Family and friends are cordially invited and are required to wear mask and adhere to social distancing per Covid protocols. His service will be held privately and his burial will be held on Wednesday, April 14, at 11:15 a. m. in Locust Grove Cemetery in the Lanesville, in the Rockport section.

In lieu of flowers donations came be made to the Alzheimer's Awareness or the Cape Ann Animal Aid.
