He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Carey and Hazel Carey; and his sisters, Barbara McClintock and Mary Bromwell. He is survived by: his siblings, Raymond Carey (Maureen), Elizabeth Rutledge (Norman) and Linda Hotz; and his friends, Robin Tarr, Carol Bresnahan and Bob Thornley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
