He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Everett (Amaral) and Manuel Everett; his significant other William P. "Willie" Hackett III; and his brother Robert Everett. He is survived by: his friends, Kelly Stone and Chris Galluzzo; his cousin Sandra Tavares; and his great-niece Amanda Simmons.
Richard has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
