Paula R. DeCain Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 24, 2022, at the age of 90, Paula R. DeCain of Revere, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rebecca Nicolini (Brady) of Dorchester, MA and Lawrence Nicolini of Dorchester, MA; and her former spouses, Phyllis Chaffee (Newman), Lawrence Nicolini (Rita) and John Nicolini (Betty).
She is survived by: her husband William DeCain Jr.; her children, Michael DeCain of Lynn, MA, Donald DeCain (Pamela Mays) of Long Meadow, MA, Marianne Tarraza (Jeffrey Whitaker) of Cape Elizabeth, ME and William III (Mary) of Weymouth, MA; her grandchildren, Christian Whitaker, Taylor Tarraza (Joe Griswold), Tiffany DeCain (Andy Menard), William Tarraza, Heidi Dawkins (Andrew), Cameron DeCain, Kristina DeCain and Maya DeCain; her great grandchildren, Ellias, Oliver, Max, Piper, Lennon and Leo; her son-in-law Dr. Hector Tarraza; and also, Paul, Gail O'Brien and Paula. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, their spouses, godchildren, great nieces, great nephews, special friends, neighbors.
Appointments with Dr Walsh included Paula's concern for Dr. Walsh and her family; "tell me about your boys" Paula would ask, to which Dr. Walsh would kindly share a tale or two of tutoring her children during the pandemic.
