He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Quigley and Mary Quigley (Walsh); his wife Elizabeth A. "B. A." Quigley (Terrio); and his siblings, William Quigley, Richard Quigley, Mary Kelly and Alice Quigley.

He is survived by: his children, Michael J. Quigley (Patricia) and Boston Firefighter Timothy N. Quigley (Leanne); his grandchildren, Becki Quigley, Jesse Quigley, Nathan Quigley and Jake Quigley; and his sibling Thomas Quigley. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
