He was predeceased by: his father Antinino; his wife Emma (DeLuca); and his brother Antonio Freni. He is survived by: his children, Kirsten Freni of Winthrop and Jocelyn Coleman (Mark) of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Christopher, Nikkia Marcin and Courtney Coleman; and his siblings, Santo Freni, Joseph Freni, Santa Messina, Ann Chillemi and Agatha Auditore. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
