He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Downey (Hourihan) and Edward Downey; his wife Kathy Downey (Jones); and his siblings, Rosemary Downey, Kathi Ingley and Edward J. Downey.
He is survived by: his child Erin Moran (John) of Quincy; his sister Susan Downey (Loretta Butehorn) of Hingham; and his grandson Jacob Moran of Quincy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
