He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred E. Hurd, Sr. and Ruth Hurd (Eustace). He is survived by: his wife Linda Rae Hurd (Mandelson); his children, Garry Hurd of Florida, Deanna Hurd (Miguel) of Quincy, Kevin Hurd (Judith) of Quincy, Kelly Soto of Florida and Tanya Halligan (Jeremy) of Pittsburgh; his siblings, Mary Jane Sherburne (Robert) of New Hampshire, Douglas Hurd (Brenda) of New Hampshire, Renee Theofilopoulos (Billy) of Haverhill and Laurie Dion of New Hampshire; and his close friends, Andrea Kidney (Steve) of Brockton, Quentin Lam (Hilarie) of Easton, Naomi LaRue of Missouri, Scott Colleary of Braintree and Craig Moore of Quincy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Groveland Congregational Church (4 King St, Groveland, MA 01834).
