He is survived by: his spouse Andreah MacDonald; his children, Avery MacDonald and Tegan MacDonald; his parents, William MacDonald (Christine) and Karen V. MacDonald; his siblings, Kelly MacDonald, Stephen Columbo, Michael MacDonald, Maria Penilla and Rory Nizolek; his parents-in-law, Deborah Brown of Halifax, Ned Brown of Halifax and Christopher Curran of Halifax; his siblings-in-law, DaviAnn Sherman, Jack Sherman of Kingston, Benjamin Brown and Allison Brown of Kingston; and also Gary MacDonald.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Go Fund Me fund that has been set up.
