She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Swanton and Elizabeth Swanton; and her son James Donahue. She is survived by: her husband Robert A. Donahue; her children, Michael Donahue (Kim Hartgrave) of Missouri, Brian Donahue (Elizabeth Cullen) of Boston, Thomas Donahue of Plympton and Jessica Donahue of Plympton; her siblings, Brian Swanton of Arizona, Christopher Swanton of South Carolina, David Swanton of Weymouth, John Swanton of Missouri, Joanne Brown of Quincy, Kathleen Mann of Quincy, Lorraine Gerraughty of New Hampshire, Marjorie Long of Weymouth and Susan Quigg of Quincy; her grandchild Kenzie Donahue of Missouri; and her stepgrandsons, Kaleb and Kody Hartgrave of Missouri. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial donations in her name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
