He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sister Beverly J. Gauthier of Webster; his nieces and nephews, Dr. Pamela Lewis, Cheryl Lewis-Darling, Judith Konkol-Dery, Rick Dery and Stephen Dery; his sister June E. Lewis; his nephew David W. Dery; and his parents, Walter and Evelyn Hoye (Whaley). He was also cherished by eight grand nephews.
