He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, James Mias (Robin) of Leeds, Jeff Mias (Lynne) of Worcester, Jody Venable (Andrew) of Georgia and Julie Parenteau (John) of Spencer; his friends, Stephen and Barbara McGurn of Charlton; his brother-in-law Dennis Perry; his parents, Dennis Mias and Nancy Mias (Dowd); his daughter Irish Step Dance; and his wife Nancy. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
