She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Dennis W. Murphy of Oxford; her children, Mandi Melanson (David Casey) of Oxford and Cully Murphy (Lisa) of Grafton; her sister Laurel Barrett of Sterling; her grandchildren, Timothy, Amber, Jayme Melanson, Justina and Brendan Murphy; her brothers, Nicholas Barilone Jr., John Barilone and Russell Barilone; and her parents, Nicholas E. and Shirley A. Barilone (Garlick). She was also cherished by many nephews and nieces.
