He was predeceased by: his brother John W. Dalton Jr.; and his parents, John W. Dalton Sr. and Helen M. Dalton (O'Connell). He is survived by: his wife Janet Faye Dalton (Ross); his children, Robert E. Dalton Jr. (Veronica) of Norwood, Timothy W. Dalton (Patricia) of Seekonk and Donna F. Brown (Mark) of Norwood; his brothers, Edward O'Connor, William T. Dalton and Gary J. Dalton; his grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas, David, Michaela, Jessica, Taylor and Lindsay; and his great grandchildren, Rylee, Cameron, Roland, Jackson and Ella. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
