He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilary Andrew Brendza and Helen Josephine Brendza (Gardzina). He is survived by: his brothers, Daniel Brendza of Arizona and Lawrence Brendza (Carmen) of North Adams. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.
