He was predeceased by: his parents, William P. Hanson and Rachel Hanson (Waterfield); his child Michele Buckley (Marchand); his grandson Michael; and his brother Edward.
He is survived by: his friend Kathleen; his children, Rachel, Tracey Hanson of Taunton, Eric, Lynn Marchand, Smithfield and Boutin; his grandchildren, Jacob, Justin, Jade, Samantha, Nicholas, Ashley, Peter and Erin; his siblings, Walter Hanson, Attleboro, Harriet Hanson Boudreau of Foxborough, Mary Hanson Blaise of Foxborough, Betty Hanson Pothier of Albany, VT, Jerome and Samuel Hanson; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Ulrich of Norfolk, Patricia (Ulrich) and Dwayne DeWitt of Eastham. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
