He was predeceased by: his parents, William Pitt and Olga Pitt (Holst); and his sister Margery LaGrange. He is survived by: his wife Joni Pitt (Sullivan); his children, Seana Pitt (Stephen Kelley) of Cape Cod, Dr. Kara Pitt (John Polcari) of Sherborn, James S. Pitt (Amy Lucchese) of Wrentham and Erika Pitt of Medway; his grandsons, Stephen James, Chase Cogan Kelley, Quinn L. and Rhys A. Polcari; his siblings-in-law, Claire Pitt of Norfolk and Ernest Sullivan (Margery) of Braintree; and his siblings, Edith Narbit, William and David Pitt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
