We are sad to announce that on January 19, 2023, at the age of 74, Isabel Delrio of New Bedford, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Juan I. Del Rio of New Bedford; her parents, Nicolas Alayón Carmenaty of Puerto Rico and Rafaela Marrero Balaguer; her children, Alberto Del Rio (Elizabeth Lopez) of Rhode Island, Alfredo Del Rio of Puerto Rico, Alejandro Del Rio (Yoandig) of New Bedford and Nydia E. Gonzalez of New Bedford; her siblings, Amado Alayón, Luis Alayón, Angel Alayón, Nicolas Alayón, Jr. and Carmen Bartolomey; her grandchildren, Arelis, Natalie, Leanne, Aileen of Ashley, AJ, Nysha, Stephanie, Allison, Leslie, Justyn and Denisse; and her great grandchildren, Kaleb, Jafet, Akira and Mikaela.
She was most thankful for her daughter-in-law, Yoandig, who was more like a daughter to her and donated a kidney to her 11 years ago.
