Anna A. Hawkins Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 22, 2023, at the age of 97, Anna A. Hawkins of New Bedford, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Hawkins, Sr.; her parents, Manuel Britto and Angelina Britto (Grace); her son Steven Hawkins; and her siblings, John Britto, Antone "Toi" Britto, Manuel "Manny B" Britto, Jr., Albert Britto, Angelina Debois, Mary Costa and Francisca Charlton.
She is survived by: her brother-in-law Lee V. Charlton of New Bedford; her granddaughter Sandra Soares Wright of New Bedford; her great grandchild Derre Benton of Providence; and her son John Hawkins, Jr.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to New Bedford Jewish Convalescent Home, 200 Hawthorn St., New Bedford, MA 02740.
