He was predeceased by: his siblings, William Hayden and Donna Hayden. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hayden (Sweeney); his children, Gerard M. Jr. (Marti), Cynthia Kempner (James), Gregg Hayden (Dana), Beverly Canavan (David) and Ashley Fletcher (Timothy); his grandchildren, Emily Hayden, Sarah Davos (Stephen), Christopher Kempner (Kelly), Meggie MacLean (Ian), Nina Kempner, Jack, Charlie, Griffin Hayden, Drew, Jenna Canavan, Coco, Hayden and Gray Fletcher; and his sister Bernice Rudis. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
