He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Aloysius Mahoney and Mildred Mahoney (Collins); his siblings, Morgan Mahoney M. D. (Emilie) and Madelyn Bilodeau (Gerald Bilodeau) of Newton; his wife Gertrude A. Mahoney (Costello); his children, Edward Mahoney Jr. of Needham, Nancy O'Leary (John) of Needham, John Mahoney (Kelly) and Greg Mahoney (Sharon); and his grandchildren, Ward, Charlie, Emily, Lisa, Austin, Olivia, Shannon, Jack, Maggie, Molly and Nicole. He was also cherished by his siblings, his children.
