He was predeceased by: his parents, Franz Statz and Lydia Statz (Kohler); and his wife Ilse Statz. He is survived by: his daughters, Dr. Ingrid E. Statz of Monson and Dr. Eva Statz (Steve Geary) of Gloucester, MA; his brother Dr. Horst Statz of Germany; and his grandchildren, Kurt and Natasha.
