She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Franklin and Eleanor Stabler Brooks; and her siblings, Edward, Margaret, Sylvia, Barbara and Edith.
She is survived by: her husband Ross; her brother Norman Brooks of Pasadena, CA; her daughters, Kate Vicksell of Watertown and Betsy Vicksell of Essex; her son-in-law Peter Morse of Essex; and her granddaughter Samantha Stabler Morse. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
She made significant contributions to complex marine navigation systems through her work with Satnav, then later programmed radar and modern GPS navigation systems.
